Prothèse dentaire

Dental Prostheses

Where one or several dental prostheses are required, various alternatives can be considered. We can always find a solution to meet your requirement in terms of comfort, aesthetics and budget.

A dental prosthesis can be used to replace one or several missing teeth. It can be fixed or removable. Whichever technique you opt for, we will propose the best possible materials to guarantee quality, and above all a durable result!

Dentures

Dentures are appliances that can be removed and put back in. We work with a laboratory that is specialized in this field.

Throughout the process of making your dentures, we will work hand-in-hand with the laboratory to achieve a natural and effective result. You will be invited to come and try on your new dentures at the surgery. Any fine-tuning required will be carried out immediately until you are entirely satisfied with the result. You will have ample opportunity to discuss the desired shade, shape and alignment of your teeth.

Fixed prostheses

Whether you have one or several teeth missing, it will always be possible to replace them with fixed prostheses. Various options are available. After a thorough analysis of your condition, we will propose the most appropriate solution.

We have our own dental technician, who is specialized in fixed prostheses, working at the surgery. This means that the shade of your teeth and the aesthetic result can be customized in the surgery, on the day the prosthesis is fitted.

For a single missing tooth

An implant is a good option, to replace it without damaging the adjacent teeth (as opposed to a conventional bridge).

The procedure is completely painless. Depending on your clinical condition (considering aesthetic, biological and functional aspects), a temporary tooth can be fitted until your implant has properly healed (3 months on average). The temporary tooth is purely aesthetic, not functional.

If several teeth need to be replaced in the same vicinity

Two implants can be used to anchor a bridge. Two implants may, for instance, be sufficient to replace three teeth (depending on your clinical condition). As explained, temporary teeth can be fitted to address any aesthetic concerns.

If several teeth need to be replaced in a dental arch

An entire denture can be fixed on implants. Inconvenient and uncomfortable dentures can be dispensed with! Thanks to new techniques, it is now possible to leave our surgery with a fixed prosthesis stabilized by using 4 to 6 implants in the lower jaw and 6 to 8 implants in the upper jaw.
